Sumptuous fare
Recognized by many critics as one of the area's few five-star restaurants, Bernardin's has made quite a name for itself over the past 17 years.
The restaurant has a combination of French, Italian and Asian influences. Popular entrees include seared ostrich with fennel cumin crust, braised Savoy cabbage, wild rice corn cake and Madeira cranberry sauce, which has been featured on The Food Network; pepper-crusted filet mignon with horseradish gnocchi, wild mushrooms, wilted watercress and goat cheese; wasabi mustard-crusted ahi tuna with soba noodle cake, baby bok choy, shitake mushrooms and tahini sweet chili sauce; grilled tandori Australian lamb loin with onion confit, curry vegetables, potato yam gratin, fried spinach and mint chutney; and pan-roasted diver sea scallops with lobster pumpkin risotto and vanilla spice vinaigrette.
