Harvest Song Artisanal Jams and Preserves, 536g/$10-$13
This delicious Armenian jam, which hails from the Ararat Valley, has a bright, fresh flavour and isn't too sweet. On the top of that, it's preservative-free, contains no artificial colouring and no pectin, which means this jam is the real McCoy, packed with fruit, not water or juice. Available in a wide variety of flavours, including quince, walnut, apricot-cherry, strawberry, pear-apple and pumpkin-apple. The real standout is the rose-petal jam that uses about 300 rose petals to make one jar!
Available at Gourmet Laurier, 1042 Laurier Ave. W., Less Douceurs de Marche at the Atwater Market, and the New England Gift and Basket Co., at 300 Lakeshore Rd., Pointe Claire.
